Primary Responsibility
Responsibility for all warehouse operational activities
Responsibility for financial performance of the logistics operation
Determines the workforce required within the Warehouse based on the productivity targets, while accounting for the needs of the customers, the work, and the availability and skills of the staff
The optimal use of the resources available and targeting established internal and customer KPIs is Key
Pro-active preparation and implementation of continuous improvement plans to increase productivity and quality of service to customers
Ensures the site can be seen as a showcase at which visitors can be received at any time
Targets optimum customer satisfaction and maintains customer relations, initiator for customer focus on site level
Leadership, development and management of logistics team within the warehouse
Responsible for admin team and activities
Ensures that the Code of conduct and local legislation are observed at all times, and acts in accordance with company's global and local processes, guidelines, and procedures
Promotes a good working atmosphere within the team and continuously focuses on improvements
Evaluate stuff performance on a regular basis
Responsibility for quality and safety at the site
Provides a working environment in which the health and safety of staff and external parties are protected, following the prevailing HSE guidelines
The maintenance, standardization, implementation, and follow-up of (working) agreements, (working) instructions, and procedures of the department (IMS)
The correct settlement of problem files (Incident Handling Tool) and for the transfer of claim files to the Country Claims & Insurance Manager
Responsible for the daily performance and productivity in the warehouse
The implementation of new customers based on the agreements established Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
The accurateness and correctness of all data input
The administrative work and/or correspondence of his/her own department
Compiling statistics and performance reports, KPIs, analyses non-conformities, and initiates and implements corrective actions/improvement plans
To set up the basics in a warehouse and beyond
Responsible for the Facility in the form of: the performance of maintenance, both repairs and preventative maintenance, laws and regulations, company standards and maintaining the correct annual contracts with vendors
Is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is and complies with safety standards
Playing an active role in initiating, executing and follow up on projects initiated in the Logistics Strategy
Maintains relationships with vendors and pushes them to continuous improvements within a partnership
Qualification
Qualification
Education Background & Work Experience :
University Degree / Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in logistics and supply chain management
Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in 3PL warehouse environment
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential
Inventory program such as SAP, WMS
