Primary Responsibility
- To consistently exceed our customers’ expectations and operational standards for delivered on time performance at an optimised cost and zero tolerance in respect to loss and damage.
- Manage the Clearance Team Leaders by providing them the framework to facilitate the implementation of the agreed operations business plan, within the agreed budget and through excellent people management practices, resulting in improved service, productivity, financial, people and customer results. Maximizing low and peak hour’s productivity.
- To meet the targets on delivering on time and in perfect condition in order to achieve customer satisfaction through an optimised and standardised operations process at optimum cost
- To image all employees within import function to ensure that service quality performance meet targets (To ensure al inbound to be processed,HS code classification, customs clearance process,timely and accurate communication, all billing notes and feedback to origin countries to be raised on as per requires)
- To manage import cost efficiently and effectively
- To contribute to the effective rollout of Business Unit Operations projects, through contribution of professional expertise and leadership.
- To contribute to customer satisfaction, both internal and external, by participating in the implementation of initiatives that aim to achieve customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention
Qualification
Qualification
- At least Five (5) years experience in a clearance environment
- Experience in a multinational company.
- Higher education degree (in any field) or equivalent level of experience.
- Good knowledge of Operations processes and related technology.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement.
- Proven experience and knowledge in effective training, coaching and people management practices, including leadership development.
- Required Skill(s): Mastery of the English language both verbal and written
- English course qualifications and/or certificate.
- Appropriate management courses and qualifications.
- Preferably candidate who have Basic Project Management and Finance knowledge (VBM) skills
- Preferably Manager/Assistant Manager specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent
