Primary Responsibility
- Product presentations and demonstrations- Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP)- Deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customer’s business requirements- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel or team supported- Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms Collaborate with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced- Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account team to potential risk of deal closure- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes- Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities- Provides coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen and technical sales skill

- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or other related discipline- Having experience as presales or technical consultant for min 2-3 years- Posses a good record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable presales role- Detailed knowledge of Server, Storage, Networking and security devices are must- Product certification, engineering credential or equivalent technical credential- Analytical skill and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients- Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills- Proven ability to multi task and prioritize under pressure- Self starter and good listening skills- Fluency in English essential Additional fluency in another language would be an advantage- Ability to discuss and demonstrate business benefits and value to a customer of a technical solution- Ability to translate technical and business requirements into cost-efficient solutions- Affinity to both sales and technology- A team player with the ability to adopt a leadership role where necessary- Willing to travel locally and overseas
