- As the pastry chef you will guide Pastry team and organize the section and produce good quality desserts to the hotel standard.
- As 2nd in command in entire kitchen brigade when in absence of the Chef
- Staffing issues
- Food Purchasing
- Inventory management
- Quality Control; daily pre service station checks
- Age maximum 35 years old
- Education minimum Diploma from food majority / hospitality and Bachelor Degree are welcome.
- Must have good knowledge of pastry and bakery
- Demonstrated ability to control food and labor costs.
- Experience minimum 2 years at same position.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. A vibrant and positive go-getter attitude. A self-starter who takes on challenges and works at seeing them through.
- Excellent knowledge of local and imported ingredients varieties.
- Superior organizational and time management skill with the ability to interact closely with guests, staff and management.
- Should be highly creative and innovative.
- Able to work long hours.
- Able to work under pressure.
