Primary Responsibility
• Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work starts• Developing the programme of work and strategy for making the project happen• Planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials• Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety and the environment (HSE) are adherred to• Overseeing the running of several projects/ oversee the day-to-day running operations of a plant construction project.• Using construction management software packages to plan smooth work flows• Communicating with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce• Responsible for communicating with whoever has ordered the project in the first place, reporting any problems or delays, as well as keeping them up to date with general progress. Need to communicate with those outside of the project, such as town planners and regulations officers.• Supervise and direct operations on a construction project to make sure it is completed safely, on time and within budget.

• Excellent people skills to work with staff at all levels• A creative approach to problem solving• Able to motivate team, take on responsibility and make decisions• ave excellent organisational and planning skills• An in-depth knowledge of building methods• Have 7-8 years experience in construction company, ideally around 10 years• Have an experience in construction company is MUST• Working on Japanese construction company/working for plant construction project highly preferable
