We are a group with diversified interests in structure, architecture, interiors, furniture contract business in Indonesia and are now expanding and looking for a dynamic individual to join our professional teams in the interiors & furniture department in the Yogyakarta office in Indonesia
Primary Responsibility
To look out for tender opportunities and attend to sales enquires
o carry out measurement, estimations and costing for tenders
To prepare project budget for successful bids and organize handover meeting
To go site hoq-rounds prior to tender or visit site to understand the project site conditions
To work closely with purchasing, projects and production in providing support to the project department in the execution of the jobs successfully tendered
To build and maintain good rapport with consultants and clients
To attend tender interviews, site show-rounds and participate in negotiations with owners, architects, interior designer and consultants
To ensure the safe-keeping of data and information foe easy retrieval for use in tendering
To provide contract administration and other support to project department
To assist in sourcing and negotiation with suppliers and sub-contractors to meet project budgets
To assist in procurement ensuring specifications are met
To assist project department in submission of samples for approval
To prepare and submit reports projects progressive claims, variation claims, e.o.t claims, final reports. etc
To check all contract drawings and contract documents making sure there are no errors or inacuracies before being signed by the company
To ensure the safe-keeping of data and information for easy retrieval for use in tendering
To undertake any other associated tasks and reponsibillities assigned from time time
Qualification
Qualification
At maximum age of 35 years old
University degree holder, majoring in quantity surveying or construction engineering or any other relevant qualification
5-7 years of experience in quantity surveying in the architecture, interior fit out works or furniture production (expereince from beginning to end project)
Meticulous, hardworking and able to work independently
Comprehensive and methodical in handling documents and filling/storage of relevant records
Able to provide contract management support
Good knowledge of interior fit-out works, trades and supply sources connetion
Good communication and negotiation skills
Should be proficient in working with computer, software skills such as working with Microsoft Office & project. Other software skills like Autocad or Corel draw would be bonus
Able to write report
A complete set of application letter must be submitted at the maximum time of 4 (four) weeks after the published date of this ad
