Primary Responsibility
Perform sales activities within assigned geographic area in line with the sales plan Objectives (SME). Manage allocated sales team.
Manage and control the sales organization within the assigned sales territory
Propose sales plan (SME)
Execute and control the sales activities in line with the validated sales plan
Assign sales-force to targets/clients
Develop business commodities (pulp, paper, palm oil, wood product, lumber, agriculture) with sales ownership for 12-months maximum.
Assure successful account integration to Operations and Customer Service
Share information using sales-support tools (CRM)
Optimize cost of sales
Assure compliance with the sales process
Qualification
Qualification
Higher educational level (degree business administration, economics, logistics)
Relevant working experience (minimum 3 years)
Industry experience (minimum 3 years)
Sales experience (minimum 2 years)
Functional know-how in air / sea / logistics /SCM
Strong sales know-how, Sales Driven & Customer Focus
Understanding of company strategy and products
Deep local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)
Basic business administration competence
Capable of independently meeting expected sales goals in commodities
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Negotiation & Persuasion Skill
Relationship building and maintenance capabilities
Presentation Skills
Fluent in Country local language is preferred (written and spoken)
Fluency in English is mandatory (written and spoken)
Other languages (written and spoken) a plus
Good knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Profound knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools
