Company Introduction
GrabTaxi is an automated smartphone based booking and dispatch platform for the taxi industry in the Indonesia. We aim to introduce simple, cost effective mobile-based technology to both the taxi company and passenger sides of the distribution chain. We believe our solution will also bring significant improvements to Indonesia’s national productivity through improved taxi allocations, and thus public transportation efficiencies
Primary Responsibility
1. Ability to define and implement processes from scratch. Formulate business plans and articulate opportunities, value propositions to senior leadership
2. Has strong strategic sense in order to lead, own and guide the business and achieve the vision, mission and principles set for the city
3. Has strong operational and problem solving skills in order to identify opportunities within the business and provide recommendations to improve the business
4. Has strong analytical and data driven insights in order to properly identify issues, opportunities and trends and to provide with quick and long term strategies to grow the overall business
5. Has strong business acumen and sense of business ownership to properly identify all external opportunities that the business can tap into be it internal or external
6. Has existing relationship or able to bridge and maintain relationship with government,authorities and relevant partners key to the business
7. Has strong business acumen and sense of ownership to help position Grab in favourable and legal positions in the city
8. Ensure adherence to operating budget of all Financial operations
9. Initiate, support and manage the development and execution of the marketing campaign and activities
10. Build, grow and maintain all channels of supply acquisition. Able to scale and grow fast
11. Relentless and takes full ownership of the budget and targets
12. Able to recruit A-Type team, groom and mentor them
13. Able to work with other Country and Regional stakeholders
Qualification
Qualification
1. Diploma or Bachelor degree preferably with a focus on inManagement/Business studies/Economics or equivalent majors
2. Minimum 3-5 years of primary experience in Market Expansion and launching new markets
3. Minimum 2-3 years of management consulting
4. Advanced and above in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
5. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
6. Management consulting experience preferred, commercial and marketing experience in related firms (e.g. FMCG, transport, logistics,technology)
7. Entrepreneurial & resourceful – Able to put on different hats; Goal is to achieve City targets with a “can-do” attitude
8. Able to bridge, connect and maintain relationship with local partners and regulators
9. Able to make key business decisions or provide solid recommendations based on data & analytical thinking
10. Strong leadership skills to mentor and grow the team
11. Strong knowledge of the local market (Strong network within the taxi/transportation industry is preferred)
12. Flexibility and willingness to travel
