Primary Responsibility
To account for all cash collections in accordance with hotel/corporate policy and procedure.
Record and reconcile all money deposited in the drop box by cashiers.
Bank reconcile (only for bank cash account).
Count and verify money in cashier envelopes.
Prepare bank deposit slips for daily banking.
Count own house bank daily and properly account for all disbursements made there from.
Prepare General Cashier’s daily report.Issue floats to cashiers as authorized, keep relevant records and monitor overall float position.
Prepare monthly petty cash report for reimbursement.
To perform daily foreign currency exchange with the officially appointed money changer and check and reconcile all foreign exchange submissions and calculations performed by Front Office and the POSMaintain a record of cashier discrepancies for investigation and follow up.
Monitor foreign exchange rates weekly to ensure that the hotel’s rates are appropriate.
To balance petty cash disbursements in the petty cash float and to ensure the timely reimbursement to employees within hotel policy.
To ensure the safeguard of all cheques and cash received in his/her custody.
Qualification
Qualification
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Minimum 3 years of working experience for General Cashier
Excellent command of English communication both spoken and written
Computer literate, preferable with windows application such as word and excel for candidate and prefer familiar operate for Realta System and SAP
Prefer experience in 3 or 4 star Hotels
Proven knowledge of tax and regulation
Willing to be placed in Semarang
