Karma Group is headed by Chairman and founder, John Spence, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010. In June 2013, John was invited to join leading entrepreneurs from around the world in Monaco to join the judging panel for the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year. Primary Responsibility
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities from appetizer to desserts
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the final touch
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Qualification
Qualification
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Must have strong passion for culinary excellence and guest service
Must be hands-on leader and team player
Proven ability to train and develop kitchen team
Proven success as Head Chef in high volume upscale or casual dining restaurant
Having advance knowledge in HACCP & Food Safety
Required language(s): English
Applicants must be willing to work in Jimbaran
