Primary Responsibility
• To represent the company to clients in the highest professional spoken or written manner.• To familiarize himself with every aspect of the Company`s market potential such as products, services, capability, capacity, etc.• To execute marketing plans and programs both short and long range that realistically utilize the Company`s marketing potential to assure growth and expansion.• Must establish marketing goals to ensure the Company`s share of the market and profitability.• To prepare and manage offers to Clients based on offer documents received in order to produce timely and technically accurate offers.• To estimate quantities from drawings.• To obtain and negotiate prices fro materials and services for the purpose of offer price calculation.• To prepare offer documents including but not limited to Offer Letters, Bills of Quantities, Time Schedules, Manpower and Equipment Schedules.• To identify, coordinate, organize, and manage the activities to be performed and data to be supplied by other Company departments necessary in the preparation of the offer.• To prepare documentation and files for Local and International Tenders.• To amend the Company`s Standard Tender Files to fit with tender requirements.• To read all commercial, technical and contractual documents and extract key information necessary for tender preparation.• To identify, coordinate, organize, and manage the activities to be performed and data to be supplied by other Company departments necessary in the preparation of the Tender.• To regularly and systematically follow up all offers and tenders submitted.• To maintain a record of communications with Clients regarding the status of offers and tenders.• To keep alert to the activities of our competitors and make strategic suggestions to improve the chances of winning the offer or tender.• To research analyze and monitor financial, technological developmental, infrastructural, sociological, political, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.• To create and maintain up-to-date databases n potential projects from which, business can be generated for the Company and in order to ascertain the Company`s Market size and Market share.• To maintain up-to-date price information for material and components necessary for the preparation of competitive offers.• To meet regularly with the key suppliers to maintain a high level of motivation to support the Company with competitive prices during offer preparation.• To seek new suppliers both locals or abroad.• To acquire strategic information about the Company`s competitors such as but not limited to their competitiveness, capabilities, advantages, and disadvantages.• To constantly seek to learn new techniques and skills in order to improve the chances of success in the marketing of the Company. Such knowledge and skills must include but not be limited to the following areas :• To prepare and present marketing reports both internal and external to Head Office.• Assist in planning and preparation of the Company`s advertising programs including print and electronic.• Communicate with outside printing companies, advertising agencies, writers, artists and cooperate with them in the preparation of copywriting, design, layout, and production of promotional materials.• Be well presented at all times maintain an aggressive and sincere positive attitude towards work, colleagues, Clients and life in general.• Demonstrate creativity and initiative.• Be prepared to work under pressure and long hours.

Ideally a Bachelor Degree in Marketing Communication, Management, or equivalent• A minimum of 5 years working experience in Business Development, preferably within the steel and bridge construction industry• Requires the initiative/intuition to analyze feedback information from people and systems, anticipates potential obstacles to success and implement preventive measures or corrective action on a timely basis• Excellent communication skills in English (Verbal & Written) and Bahasa Indonesia• Computer literacy using Microsoft Window Software (such as MS-Office)• Excellent analytical skills• Excellent organizational skills• Excellent team work and people skills• Strong character with the ability to professionally convey and influence technical decisions of the top management• Have the ability to evaluate sufficiency and validity of information and act accordingly without being reminded to do so, also in this manner always provide management with useful information.
