Primary Responsibility
Responsibilities :Evangelize technical cloud capabilities internally and with our customer base.Become a “trusted advisor” to the Sales and Solution Engineering community as well as with our customers.Work with our customers to design an environment leveraging networking and security best practices.Be able to position and sell a cloud solution within the context of business goals.Ability
to develop strong understanding of the technical capabilities of both
the cloud solution as well as key members of our ecosystem program.Demonstrate the ability to manage and quickly gain respect among subject matter experts within the company.Be
able to qualify and position additional services to extend the value
proposition of the Cloud portfolio – Managed services, Networks,
Colocation, etc.Is accountable to the assigned Cloud quota.

Qualification
Experience working in the IaaS space is required, preferably VMware hypervisor.At
least 3-5 years’ experience working in an IT organization or in a
technical pre-sales role specifically virtualization and complex IT
system.Knowledge of how and why organizations are adopting
cloud as well as the competitive landscape and overall cloud ecosystem
is key.Strong understanding of use cases for cloud and Hybrid IT.Excellent communication skills to include: verbal, written and presentation.Entrepreneurial drive, energy, integrity, and strong work ethicProficiency with engaging and influencing senior business decision makers, including CIOsKnowledge of PaaS, SaaS and the Software Development LifeCycle would be beneficialProven success with meeting sales targetsExperience working for a multi-national IT vendor
