Primary Responsibility
Trains, cross –trains, and retrains all housekeeping personnel.
Participates in the selection of front office personnel.
Supervises workload during shifts.
Evaluates the job performance if each housekeeping employee.
Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
Works within the allocated budget for the housekeeping.
Check and ensure that all guestrooms, public areas, back of the house areas are clean and well maintained.
Inspect the work done by contractors- pest control, launry, window cleaning, etc.
Check periodical stocktaking and maintaining of stock records for linen, uniform, equipment.
Assist Hotel Manager in forecasting and budgeting for operating and capital expenditure.
Take charge of housekeeping department.
Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualification
Education minimum D3
Experiences minimum 3 years
Good English
A friendly personality and a genuine desire to help and please others;
A professional manner and a calm, rational approach in hectic situations;
Flexibility and a 'can do' mentality;
Energy and patience;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with speakers of other languages.
