Primary Responsibility
Objective: Account managers are responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of business and brands within an organization) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating marketing and creative staff, leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, and liaising with media organizations and advertising agencies.
Account managers must be great business leaders as well as great marketing leaders.
Responsible for working with executives to determine budgets and targets, and they are often charged with developing pricing strategies for products and services.
Will independently manage a select group of products reporting to Marketing Director(s)
Manage and execute key marketing initiatives and website refresh
Proactive worker with an ability to assess and problem solve multiple projects independently while working in a cross-functional environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow
Has an awareness of marketing strategies for competitive brands through regular industry research and the ability to apply these learnings to our portfolio
Knowledge of traditional and emerging marketing channels, particularly in the digital space
Prepare post-mortem recaps from campaigns and events across all marketing channels
Serve as a liaison between key retailer and licensee partners to communicate key marketing initiatives and needs
Strong business writing and presentation skills
Strong editorial copywriting skills with an ability to differentiate the voice for each brand
Creative and organized
Strong sense of urgency
Pulse on pop culture, people and places
Requirements:
College-graduate with1 year preferably with experience in marketing, retail, media, and/or brand management companies
Microsoft Office
Multi-tasker Team player
Previous experience in sales
1 year of marketing/communications experience
Partnership Marketing Business Development experience with experience in corporate deals
Field management, experiential marketing, sales, marketing
Managing integrated marketing campaigns from inception to completion
Managing partnerships from initial cold calling to planning to execution
Developing and executing content strategy
